About Me

Hello!

Ever since an early age art and communication have always mattered greatly to me. I love the ways in which art, in any medium, be it simple pencil, fantastic oil paintings, or how the bright lights of a movie screen can transport an audience/or viewer somewhere else and send a clear and succinct message. While studying for my undergraduate degree I was able to discover my passion and love for graphic design when I landed my first ever graphic design position. It was a part-time student position with the Intercultural Center whose goal on campus centered around creating a safe and supportive learning environment that valued diversity and built an inclusive community. In this role, I found graphic design to be the perfect marriage of art and communication and I especially loved that thrilling feeling of finishing a project and seeing it printed and used by its intended audience. That’s the kind of thing that gets me excited for my next project and excited to learn more in this field!

As a creative professional, I am passionate, driven, and decisive. I am highly motivated by a variety of different projects but am more drawn toward projects that involve branding and marketing. I work well with others and enjoy collaborating in groups that allow for free-flowing ideas and help me grow as an individual designer. 

When I’m not learning or working on projects, you can find me either at the movie theater soaking up the next thriller or blockbuster hit. Or outside hiking, swimming, or biking. Anything that can get me outdoors and active, you bet I’ll be there!
